Hello Canary, aka Carla Hackett, is a Sydney-based graphic designer-illustrator with a knack for contemporary, unique design.
With loads of studio experience up her sleeve, Carla is guided by a mix of professional know-how and serendipitous inspirations. Her print, web and illustration projects with Hello Canary traverse both corporate and creative industries - ranging from beautiful graphic design, creative branding packages, sweet-as-pie tees, love-filled wedding invitations, illustration and more.
As well as designing for Hello Canary, Carla also moonlights as the singing stage siren from the sixties - Crystal Chandelle - in her band The Fabulous Chandeliers; and is known to get creative with other quirky art techniques like letter pressing and sewing 'softie' toys.
