Brief
Design a booklet that showcased the final plays of NIDA’s 2008 graduating directors.
Solution
The graduates of the exclusive directing course at the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) wanted to showcase themselves a little differently to the past alumni in their end-of-year book. Hello Canary used the group’s collaborative name Theatre Forward to inspire a programme that not only emphasised the graduates’ theatrical talents, but also their industry ambition. The book — which included photos of their graduating plays, bios and other written bits and pieces — was sent to prospective agents and all the top theatre company directors across the country.
